It goes without saying that web accessibility is important to us. We believe that everyone needs to be able to use and understand the web.
Therefore, at the A11Y Collective, we incorporated web accessibility in our workflow. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines as created by W3C. The content we provide is accessible and the website is designed and developed based on the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines as created by W3C.
Known accessibility issues
We regularly check our website for potential accessibility issues. Also, the developers, designers and copywriters working on this platform regularly attend training on the topics of usability and web accessibility. There are a few accessibility issues that we are aware of. They are listed below:
LearnDash application:
- No associated label with the textarea for filling out an assignment.
We created a support ticket for this with LearnDash.
Group registration (admin facing page only)
- Form fields without associated labels
